Miami Beach Urban Studios Introduces Its New Leadership Advisory Board

Miami Beach Urban Studios is proud to present the newly formed Miami Beach Urban Studios Leadership Advisory Board!

Comprised of thirteen outstanding members of the professional Miami Beach community, the board was created to further the mission and vision of CARTA’s facility on Lincoln Road. The members will continually meet with and advise the leadership in the College and at the Studios, represent and advocate out in the local community, engage in collaborative and innovative activities both internally and externally, and establish connections with public and private entities to advance the goals and future of CARTA and MBUS. 

The new board members are: Adelee Cabrera, Asi Cymbal, Benjamin de la Peña, Pablo di Ritis, Vanessa Grout, Eric Hankin, Alfred Karram Jr., Michael Larkin, Chad Oppenheim, Jared Galbut, German Montoya, Adriano Salucci, and Carlos Prio-Touzet. After the first meeting of the MBUSLAB on June 5th, 2014, MBUS threw open its doors to the Miami Beach community so they could meet our new board over drinks and food, as well as have the opportunity to bid on wonderful silent auction items, all of which were donated by the Miami Beach business community. About the Miami Beach Urban Studios:

Mission:  The Miami Beach Urban Studios build upon the mission of the College of Architecture + The Arts by taking advantage of location, facilities, and resources in the heart of Miami Beach to use the power of architecture and the arts to engage local and global communities to create, innovate, and inspire solutions to social, economic, and environmental problems.   

Vision:  To build upon the vision of the College of Architecture + The Arts by utilizing the innovation, community engagement, and expertise afforded by its facilities and location to be at the forefront of teaching, research, and service in art, design, performance, and communication.
