The Department of Architecture will host a reception to raise funds for the Ramόn Arbesύ Scholarship. Ramon was an ’01 architecture graduate who passed away last year from colon cancer. His wife Ilu created the scholarship in his memory and to help bright and deserving students in the Department of Architecture as a way of honoring Ramon’s talent and dedication to his field. The reception will take place on Wednesday, April 29th, from 6 to 8 pm at the Paul Cejas Architecture BEA Gallery. If you’d like to attend the event, please RSVP to asnigarc@fiu.edu or 305.348.4971.
