Master of Fine Arts candidates Inga Karelina, Lorna Galloway, and Leandra Arvazzetti received 2014-2015 Women in the Visual Arts, Inc. (WITVA) Graduate Education Scholarships.

To receive the scholarships, each MFA candidate had to submit their own artwork and provide their grade point averages, recommendations from college professors, and evidence of financial need. Once finalists, the three MFAs then had to present their work at a WITVA general meeting and speak about their artistic vision and professional aspirations. Because of their exceptional work, academic records, and presentations, Kareline, Galloway, and Arvazzetti will be able to continue their graduate educations. In addition, the three MFA candidates now have a one-year gift membership to Women in the Visual Arts, Inc.

The Department of Art + Art History wishes to congratule the scholarship recipients!
