BFA Theatre Performance student Tatiana Pandiani and two other CARTA students were chosen by the college’s Dean Brian Schriner to represent FIU at the 2013 Arts Day in Tallahassee – March 20.
ABOUT TATIANA
Tatiana Pandiani was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but as the daughter of a career diplomat, she grew up traveling and living in different cities such as Kingston, Atlanta, Boston, Buenos Aires, and Miami. As a teenager she developed a passion for dance and musical theatre and decided to pursue it fully in her college years. Currently, she is a senior in the BFA Theatre Performance program.
At FIU Theatre she has been involved in many productions both on and off campus. She has performed in The Nutcracker, Arabian Nights, Body and Sold and is currently about to open The Liar (March 1-3 & 6-10, WPAC Mainstage) where she plays twins Isabelle and Sabine. In addition, Tatiana was honored to be the student director at the 2012 Alternative Theatre Festival where she directed her first full length, The Maids by Jean Genet.
One of her most memorable experiences at FIU to date, was as a cast member of Body and Sold where she played Dora, a young victim of human trafficking. This production was developed in Miami, Washington DC, and London under the direction of Phillip Church.
In the local community, Tatiana has worked with White Rose Miami, What If Works Productions, MICROTHEATRE, House Next Door Productions, and others. Tatiana is currently awaiting answers regarding Graduate School and hopes to begin a Master’s program next fall.
