Every spring, the Women’s Studies Student Association, puts on a production of The Vagina Monologues, by Eve Ensler. The Vagina Monologues is a play which focuses on women’s issues and was inspired by a series of interviews with women from all walks of life. This year, the Department of Theatre is proud to have four of its talented majors participating in the play. The show is funny yet tragic, uplifting at times and depressing at times. Regardless of whether you leave the theatre smiling or crying, you will be in awe of the raw, honest talent. Please come out and enjoy an evening of powerful theatre while supporting the Women’s Studies Department at the same time.
