Another semester began at FIU Theatre last week. Students and faculty returned ready to hit the ground running.
On Monday, our students joined the rest of the country in taking in the eclipse. Our tech staff modified some welding helmets and glasses to make them eclipse safe. Students and faculty gathered outside of the WPAC in the afternoon to take in this rare event.
Rehearsals for Ubu Rex went into their second week. The play kicks off our 2017-18 season on September 22. Tickets are now on sale!
Our tech lab students wasted no time getting to work building the set for the show.
The week wrapped up with an all-majors meeting. Faculty and staff shared important information and then everyone celebrated the start of the semester with some pizza and camaraderie.
