WLRN and the South Florida Theatre League will be asking FIU Theatre patrons to “Get In Bed With The Arts” on July 25th before the opening night of the Alternative Theatre Festival development piece, “A Thousand Years” which is a new play by playwright Kenny Finkle and directed by Michael Yawney (who recently directed P.E.T. at Miami Light Box, which sold out both nights).
The “Get In Bed With The Arts” campaign has been bringing their themed bed all around theatres this summer as part of the WLRN and South Florida Theatre League’s Summer Theatre Festival. At the end of the summer this bed will be taking part of the Coconut Grove Bed Race, Labor Day weekend. thegreatgrovebedrace.com
