On Friday, February 15, students and faculty from FIU’s Theatre Design and Performance explored the technical and design aspects of Cirque Du Soleil’s touring show Totem. The trip included an extensive backstage tour lead by members of the crew, technical talks, and a Q&A with cast and crew.
This visit proceeds an upcoming on-campus workshop and classroom visits by Cirque Du Soleil members in early April where students will learn more about the design and production aspects of a large show as well as get a chance to interview for internships.
