Twitter Co-Founder Jack Dorsey Speaks at MBUS

The FIU College of Architecture + The Arts (CARTA) Miami Beach Urban Studios was the location for an event on Thursday morning, 6/25/16 that involved a conversation between Jack Dorsey co-founder of Twitter and founder of Square Inc., and the Administrator of the U. S. Small Business Administration, Maria Contreras-Sweet. The event was hosted by the tech firm Rokk3r Labs and Dorsey’s current firm Square Inc. The event included statements by several local small business owners, including the owners of Panther Coffee and Wynwood Café, who spoke about their success in using mobile and online payment methods. The audience was comprised of invited small business owners and guests, including Ambassador Paul Cejas, CARTA Board member and owner of the 420 Lincoln Road building where Miami Beach Urban Studios is housed.
