Fishing For FIU Scholarships!

Alumni, grab your fishing rods!

The countdown to the 11th Annual FIU Scholarship Fishing Tournament has started, and you have the opportunity to raise funds for FIU students. If the terms ‘active fish’, ‘v-pattern’ and ‘daisy chains’ get you excited, you are clearly a fisherman and have to be there!

The tournament serves to raise funds for student scholarships. FIU alumni, students and members of the community are all welcome to participate on June 1st at the Sea Isle Marina (1635 North Bayshore Dr., Miami, FL 33131). This event is a one day, offshore tournament featuring fishing for dolphin, with fun fish, lady angler, and Jr. angler categories.

To register, click here. The cost is $350 per boat (including 4 anglers) if paid by May 27th. Additional anglers are $50 each. The cost is $400 per boat (including 4 anglers) if paid after May 27th.
