Nine CARTA faculty members in five of the college departments are among the FIU educators tenured and/or promoted beginning with the 2018-19 academic year.
In the Department of Architecture: Associate Professor Camilo Rosales, AIA, was promoted to the rank of Full Professor. Instructor Claudia Busch was promoted to Senior Instructor.
In the Department of Art and Art History: Assistant Professors Benjamin Z. Bellas and Lidu Yi, PhD, were promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure.
In the Department of Communication: Assistant Professor Yu Liu, PhD, was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure. Instructor Grizelle De Los Reyes was promoted to Senior Instructor.
In the School of Music, Assistant Professors Larry J. Ousley, Jr., PhD, and Jacob David Sudol, PhD were promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure.
In the Department of Theater, Assistant Professor Rebecca J. Covey was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure.
