Award-winning Curley & Pynn Public Relations recently selected FIU alumna Elizabeth Lytle, ‘17 to join their team as a Communications Specialist.
Lytle, who graduated in Communications, is commended by the firm for her extensive experience working in media relations and event planning. She previously served as public relations intern and public relations coordinator for Norwegian Cruise Line, named the “World’s Leading Large Ship Cruise Line” by the World Travel Awards. There, she assisted with media relations and marketing promotions for a fleet of 16 cruise ships worldwide.
“The curriculum and staff offered in FIU’s communications program provided me with educational background and experience that was crucial to my success at Norwegian Cruise Line,” says Lytle.
Curley & Pynn is widely recognized by local and national associations for its keenly strategic approach to public relations counsel and marketing communications management. Lytle says she is looking forward to growing both personally and professionally.
“I am so excited to be able to ‘stretch my legs’ a bit and truly understand the role public relations plays in the wide arena of communications,” she says.
During her time at FIU, Lytle served as Account Executive to lead an integrated marketing campaign for the opening of Empanada Harry’s, a bakery and café in West Kendall, which has since been successfully implemented.
She thanks FIU Communication Professor Lynne Farber for giving her guidance throughout her educational and professional career.
“You can ask any one of Lynne’s students (her ‘children,’ as we’re fondly known) and they would attest that she is truly a game changer for any communications students attending FIU.”
“She helped guide me during some of the toughest points of my educational and budding professional career and I will always be so grateful to have her in my life.”
