Carlos Rigau, a 2004 BFA graduate from the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts, is one of the CINTAS Fellowship finalists for Visual Arts. He was also a finalist in the same category for 2014-2015. Other finalists include Pavel Acosta-Proenza, Aurora de Armendi, Ivan Toth Depeña, Vanessa Diaz, Lilian Garcia-Roig, Diana Guerrero-Macia, Gabriel Martinez, Hugo Patao, Norberto Rodriguez and Juana Valdes.

“Being a CINTAS finalist is an important honor for me and my work. I am from a low income background. With that, not many Visual Artist have the same experiences that I have. Showing the work of artist from economically challenged people is useful to all,” said Rigau.
