Three CARTA Alumni (two from the School of Architecture [SOA], and one from the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media [LCSJJM]) were honored during FIU Homecoming Week at the Alumni ‘5 Under 35’ event.
Each year, the award honors those young alumni who exemplify the core values of FIU – Truth, Freedom, Respect, Responsibility, and Excellence in their personal and professional lives.
Our CARTA alumni honorees are Malcolm Jones ’18 (SOA), Thomas Pupo ’13 (SOA), and Diana Marti ’11 (LCSJM). Undoubtedly our #CARTACreativeForcesAtWork continues to impact outside our classroom to serve local, national, and international communities.
During the event, the alumni shared about struggles they overcame, and lessons they learned, and expressed gratitude to those who helped them reach their levels of success, including their CARTA professors.
