A special congratulations to ‘The Legendary Soul Man’ and FIU CARTA Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts Artist-in-Residence – Sam Moore on being honored as one of the Top 10 Famous Singers from Florida by singersroom.com. The list focused on the diversity and vibrancy in culture and music found across the state and named artists who embody all that Florida has to offer with the likes of Jim Morrison, Debbie Harry, and Ariana Grande.
As a Miami native, Mr. Moore, along with his wife, have continued to pour their hearts into the musical landscape globally. I am thankful for their partnership with CARTA in driving the creative economies of South Florida, especially through our recently opened Sam ‘The Legendary Soul Man’ Theatre in the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media.
