Get your popcorn ready.

Every Saturday night at 8PM EST, you’re invited to enjoy weekly YouTube premieres from the comfort of your couch with the Wertheim @Home Concert Series.

Our School of Music will release previously recorded concerts performed by faculty, students, and guest artists at the Wertheim Performing Arts Center throughout the years.

We recently rebroadcast four virtual concerts in April, but extended the Saturday night livestreams in order to continue to engage the community with the healing power of music until audiences and friends are able to return to The Wertheim once again.

We have picked some of our favorites this May including alumnus Tony Succar (’08, MA ’10) and his Raices Jazz Orchestra (May 2), the esteemed Amernet String Quartet with Andres and Roberto Diaz (May 9), The Music of Colonial Latin America (May 16), and the FIU Festival Orchestra featuring Fredrick Kaufman’s South Florida premiere of Guernica in 2018 (May 23).

For June, concert gems that have been presented in partnership with Friends of Chamber Music of Miami and RK Cultural Productions, along with an outstanding organ recital with Spain’s Raul Prieto will be made available to the public.

New concerts will be added to the playlist each week so be sure to check them out and set your reminders! Concerts subject to change. There is no charge. Videos will not be available after the series ends.
