An Opera Matinee“An Opera Matinee” presented by the FIU School of Music is scheduled for Sunday, April 14, 4pm at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center.

Robert B. Dundas, stage director, & Mary Adelyn Kauffman, musical director of the FIU Opera Workshop, will be joined by the FIU Master Chorale, conducted by John Rose.

Patrons can expect to find FIU’s most talented vocal and choral students performing well-known and loved duets and ensembles. They include Gershwin’s “My Man’s Gone Now” from Porgy and Bess, “Flower Duet,” from Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, and “Soave sia il vento,” from Mozart’s Cosí fan tutte,  The complete program can be found here.

Tickets are $15.00 General Admission | $10.00 Seniors/Alumni/ FIU Faculty&Staff/Non-FIU Students | $5.00 FIU Students
