As a member of this premier organization, Mr. Bernhardt has become a familiar presence through his many years of involvement.

At FIU, Professor Bernhardt directs the FIU Marching Band, the Courtside Players (Basketball Band), the Panther Gold (entertainment ensemble) and conducts the FIU Symphony Band.  He continues to teach courses in conducting and music education, as well as mentoring FIU students.
