Last week the American Society of Landscape Architecture (ASLA) Student Chapter had their first meeting of 2013!

ASLA President, Chris Cabezas discussed the upcoming scholarship opportunities exclusive to the department of Landscape Architecture, including the availability of two $4,000 scholarships available to undergraduate students studying Landscape Architecture at the (LAAB) Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board accredited programs.

For more information please click here to check on the general submission guidelines and important dates. The deadline for submission is February 15, 2013.

Furthermore, ASLA students eagerly anticipate their trip to the annual “LABash” conference. It serves to connect students, alumni and professionals that share a common interest in Landscape Architecture, design and urban planning.

The conference will be held 21-23 March 2013 at the University of Georgia.
