Landscape Faculty Member Elected to the CELA Board of Directors

The Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA) Board of Directors recently announced their results of the 2019 CELA elections. Associate Professor Ebru Özer from the Department of Landscape Architecture + Environmental and Urban Design was elected the Treasurer of the Board of Directors.

Professor Özer will serve a two-year term after commencement of the 2019 CELA Annual Conference which be held in Sacramento, California. She and five other incoming officers will be appointed at the CELA Business and Awards Luncheon on Saturday March 9, 2019.

CELA is comprised of over 120 institutions and individuals who have interest in the preparation of landscape architects for global practice. The mission of the organization is to encourage, support and further education in the field of landscape architecture specifically related to teaching, research, scholarship, and public service. The Council is composed of virtually all the programs of higher learning in landscape architecture in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. (CELA, 2019)
