The home of Landscape Architecture Chair, David Rifkind and Architecture faculty, Holly Zickler was recently featured in FIU Magazine.
The article highlights Rifkind and Zickler’s 2,700-foot industrial styled home located across a public park in South Miami, FL. Both architects and advocates of sustainable design, they began their “Tin-Box” project in 2011 featuring solar panels and steel construction.
The home is a culmination of Rifkind’s and Zickler’s personal values and interests and their efforts to build a home that reduces their family’s carbon footprint.
