The 2025 3rd Annual Kimley-Horn x FIU Design Charette, held on Tuesday, March 11th, was a tremendous success. FIU’s Landscape Architecture + Environmental and Urban Design (LAEUD) department partnered with Kimley-Horn, a leading design and consulting firm, to host the event. This collaboration provided students with invaluable knowledge, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to work alongside their peers on a project that offered insight into future design challenges.

This session featured 30 LAEUD graduate students from the 2nd year and 3rd year MLA Cohort. Grouped into 6 teams and 6 tables, the students were mentored and guided by Kimley Horn’s very own Michelle Latte, PLA, ASLA, Associate/Landscape Architecture, Gregory Gonzalez, PLA, Landscape Architecture.
