Students in the FIU School of Architecture Department of Landscape Architecture + Environmental and Urban Design (LAEUD) earned nine blind-juried design awards at the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Student Awards, presented during the ASLA Florida Conference in Orlando on July 15.
The highly competitive awards program includes student submissions from four regional universities: Florida International University, the University of Florida, Ana G. Méndez University, and the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.

These awards celebrate the exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication of our students while reflecting the strength of FIU LAEUD’s design education. They also recognize the unwavering commitment of our faculty, whose mentorship extended well beyond the classroom as they guided students in developing and refining their work for this highly competitive, blind-juried competition. Together, these accomplishments highlight FIU LAEUD’s continued leadership in advancing innovative, research-driven landscape architecture and urban design.
