The FIU School of Architecture’s Department of Landscape Architecture + Environmental and Urban Design proudly congratulates Celine Elie, a second-year Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) student, on being selected as one of four recipients of the Florida Educational Facilities Planners’ Association (FEFPA) Scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Celine has been named the third-place recipient and will receive a $2,000 scholarship in recognition of her dedication, accomplishments, and emerging contributions to the field of design.

As a student in FIU Landscape Architecture, Celine brings a unique perspective shaped by her background in architecture, a lifelong passion for the arts, and a deep connection to South Florida’s diverse cultural landscape. Raised in the region, she draws on her experiences as a musician and youth counselor to explore design as a bridge among people, nature, and creativity.

FIU Landscape Architecture celebrates Celine’s achievement and her commitment to creating meaningful spaces that connect communities, culture, and the environment. We look forward to the continued growth and impact she will bring to the profession.
