Our FIU is named one of America’s best colleges. Ranked as one of the Top 20 universities in the nation, placing us in the company of the Ivy League universities.

The rankings, compiled by The Wall Street Journal and College Pulse in collaboration with the independent market research firm Statista, evaluate colleges based on student and alumni surveys and student outcome metrics.

More than 60,000 undergraduates and recent undergraduate alumni were asked to provide feedback on colleges that are of great value to its students in terms of tuition, learning environment, degree completion, and the likelihood of a higher salary after graduation. In addition, a variety of metrics around student outcomes were used to compare salary impact, the number of years to pay off the net price of earning a degree, and graduation rates relative to peers.

The WSJ rankings come just days after Washington Monthly ranked us as one of the Top 20 universities in the nation, placing us in the company of Ivy League universities and other prestigious schools, with Harvard and Stanford topping the list.
