Interior Student, Brianna Hunter, Awarded NEWH ICON of Industry Scholarship

FIU Interior Architecture student, Brianna Hunter, will be presented with the prestigious NEWH ICON of Industry Scholarship on November 13, 2017 at Gotham Hall in New York City.

NEWH Hospitality Network awards an annual ICON of Industry Scholarship to an outstanding student that is currently working towards a future in hospitality design. This year, Hunter was chosen as the 2017 recipient and will get the opportunity to attend premier design trade fair and conference – Hotel Experience and Boutique Design (BDNY) from November 12th to November 13th.

“The NEWH ICON of the Industry Scholarship is such an esteemed honor to be awarded. Not only will it alleviate a portion of my existing student debt but also merit a level of confidence that I finally found something that I truly excel at,” said Hunter.

The scholarship will be presented to Hunter at the Gold Key Awards Gala, a cocktail and dinner reception for awardees and finalists. The event takes place during the BDNY conference and is sponsored by Boutique Design Magazine and American Hotel and Lodging Association.

CARTA congratulates Brianna Hunter on her hard work and dedication! We wish you a bright and successful future in the hospitality design industry.
