The professional network for a few current BOLD members is about to rise substantially!

Three BOLD members were accepted into the 2019 Miami Beach Urban Studios (MBUS) LEADS Program – joining a cohort that features an advisory board made up of remarkable professionals. BOLD members Sabrina Chi, Dillon DiBartolomeo, and Kiara Pajon will have the opportunity to network and be mentored by professionals who specialize in fields such as strategic branding, marketing, and design.

Below is a snippet of each of the three BOLD members joining the 2019 MBUS LEADS Cohort:

First, there is junior Sabrina Chi. Majoring in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communications (PRAAC), Chi started with BOLD as a creative before moving into account management. This past semester, she served as the Account Executive for the El Gustoso Hot Sauce account. Additionally, Chi was elected to the BOLD Executive Board as Director of Accounts.

Through the MBUS LEADS Cohort, Chi is hoping to meet more people who have experience in her field. She selected strategic branding expert Deborah Briggs as her mentor. Through this selection, Chi hopes to see and experience strategic branding and non-profit work.

The second BOLD member selected into the MBUS LEADS Cohort is junior Dillon DiBartolomeo, who majors in Communication Arts. Joining BOLD this past Fall semester, DiBartolomeo served as the Account Executive for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management account before being elected to the BOLD Executive Board as Director of Public Relations Media and appointed as an Account Supervisor.

By selecting Briggs and marketing expert Adriano Salucci as his mentors, DiBartolomeo hopes to gain invaluable advice as he seeks to learn through real-life experience and apply the principles that he has learned from the classroom.

The final BOLD member to join the MBUS LEADS Cohort is senior Kiara Pajon. Majoring in PRAAC, Pajon has served as an Account Executive for BOLD while also holding titles as Director of Public Relations for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), and Vice President for Tau Sigma National Honor Society.

Pajon applied to the MBUS LEADS Cohort because she would like to network and make meaningful connections while also growing professionally. She is excited to learn from the successful professionals in the public relations and advertising fields and hear about their experiences.

All three of these applicants heard about the MBUS LEADS Cohort through BOLD.
