During Fall 2016, SCJ students Andrea Eder, Katherine Galban, David Gomont, Damien Gordon, and Nicole Malanga have developed a series of short higher-level training videos for the new internship program course. Students interviewed experts on various topics such as salary negotiation, interviewing tips, and social media practice at the workplace. These videos are part of CARTA Teaching Innovation Grant awarded in June to Professors Liliam Martinez-Bustos, Lynne Farber, and Maria Ines Marino. The main goal of the project is to aid students in understanding core professional practice strategies and concepts that will help them in succeeding throughout their internship course experience as well as preparing and equipping them to succeed as future professionals.
