This week, representatives from Oath, which represents Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Mail, Tumblr, HuffPost, AOL.com, MAKERS, BUILD Studios, #BUILTBYGIRLS and more, held small group sessions to speak with School of Communication + Journalism students about upcoming internship and career opportunities. Oath is a tech pioneer with content brands in categories such as sports, finance and news. The 21-year-old company also has one of the most popular e-mail services in the world with around 225 million monthly active users. Learn more about Oath here: https://www.oath.com/.

Oath is recruiting for internships and careers for upcoming grads available all over the US for positions in the fields of Ad Sales, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, and Communication Studies.

Representatives also reviewed resumes and answered questions from students about how to become part of the Oath team. They took some time to explain their company’s competitive benefits and how each intern has their plane ticket covered as well as a stipend throughout the duration of their internship.

The recruiters also explained that they are an organization who truly cares about their employees and invests in their overall success and growth. Employees participate in weekly development workshops as well as various company retreats and team building activities.

Past FIU Oath interns have had great successes through their internship experiences and some have even remained on the team as employees!
