With spring semester coming to an end, many Communication Arts students are searching for the perfect summer internship opportunity. In an effort to streamline the process and offer students support, the Department of Communication Arts will be hosting an internship talk on Tuesday, April 12 from 3 to 4:30PM at GL165.  This event will provide a wonderful opportunity for students to learn more about the new Communication Arts Internship Program (CAIP) and internship requirements, processes, and events. Students will have the opportunity to hear about current internship positions and be able to get advice on the next steps. In addition, guest speakers will be discussing the key to taking an internship into a full-time job, where working hard and taking initiative is a must.

Current students in the internship program, working in a variety of organizations, will be sharing their experiences and providing guidelines to make your internship a success into your professional path. Currently, Communication Arts students have internships in a variety of different fields including NBC Universal, the Frost Art Museum, 24-Group, and IDEAS.

For more information about the program, visit the CAIP Website at http://carta.fiu.edu/comm-arts/academics/communication-arts-internship-program/

The event is open to all Communication Arts students.
