College of Architecture + The Arts’ Michael Namkung, Assistant Professor of Drawing, was featured in the Miami Herald’s “Neighbors” section on Thursday, October 3rd. The spread mentioned his Drawing Gym and Tummy Time Drawings program at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum, which coincided with his exhibition Baby Pictures and the People’s Lullaby Collective. Using the energy and abilities of their own bodies, babies and toddlers created drawings, through activities like wiggling on paper with ink underneath and drawing on walls. This program, organized by Namkung, lasted three Saturdays between September 21st and October 12th.
