Students, alumni, and faculty of the FIU College of Architecture + The Arts will exhibit their work in Dali and Me, a new exhibition at MAC Fine Art that invites participating artists to provide their own interpretations of Dali artworks.

The name of this show refers to the book of the same title written by Catherine Millet. In this exhibit, curated by Rochi Llaneza (BFA ’04), a Dali artwork is paired with an artist’s interpretation of that specific Dali piece. Only in the act of pairing are they considered similar. The fine roster of artists have full artistic freedom referencing Dali, as he once did when he used Currier & Ives images for inspiration as part of a suite of prints produced in 1971. Dali and Me will open during Flagler Village Art Walk on June 27th, 2015 from 6-10p.m. at MAC Fine Art: 833 NE 4th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304. You may call MAC Fine Art at (954) 990-5420.
