The David Castillo Gallery in Wynwood is looking for interns that seek a career in the arts. This is an excellent opportunity for Art + Art History students in the College of Architecture + The Arts. Please read the announcement by the Gallery below.

David Castillo Gallery is currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic candidates for its internship program.

The objective of the internship program is to offer practical gallery experience to individuals interested in pursuing a career in the arts. Interns will gain a general knowledge and broad understanding of the daily operations of a contemporary art gallery.

Duties include (but are not limited to): generating professional correspondence, inventory registration, running errands for the gallery, assistance with archiving and administration duties, image editing & printing, answering phones, filing, and scheduling travel. Some evening events required.

Interns must commit to a minimum of one day per week, 10:30 am-5 pm, and be available to work during the evening of the Second Saturday of every month when the gallery holds its receptions.
