MONAD Studio, founded by College of Architecture + The Arts Associate Professor Eric Goldemberg and architect Veronica Zalcberg, has been selected to exhibit in 3D Printshow, New York from February 13-February 15, 2014. 3D Printshow, started in London in 2012, is the first event of its kind that features speakers and exhibitions of 3D printing technology and 3D-printed works. 3D Printshow has been held in Paris, where, in 2013, they received more than 19,000 visitors and one hundred exhibitors.
MONAD Studio will submit a version of “Stuck Together Pieces.” This piece was designed and constructed with the help of students in Goldemberg’s Digital Fabrication class. Also, it was presented on November 7th, 2013 at the 2nd Annual Miami Tech Summit & Holiday Bash, an event that garnered more than 12,000 visitors.
Goldemberg’s students will again assist MONAD Studio with the installation for 3D Printshow, as well as installations for exhibitions in Los Angeles, The LAB Miami, and the College of Architecture and The Arts Miami Beach Urban Studios.
