On November 4th, Graduate Programs announced the FIU College of Architecture + the Arts Architecture Program as the 11th best in the nation. The website – run by students for others that are deciding on a program – used the ratings and comments of current and past graduate students to determine this ranking. The FIU program was just one spot behind the University of Pennsylvania, and two spots behind Harvard University.

The FIU Architecture Program offers the Master of Architecture (MArch) and the Master of Arts in Architecture. The program was accredited in 1999 to provide a seamless transition from the undergraduate foundation to the professional degree in architecture. Currently, in the state of Florida, professionals must pass state-designed exams before earning licensure to practice. Earning a professional degree is one of the essential steps towards being eligible to take the exam. Through our program, we prepare our students for this step in their professional careers.
