FIU Architecture Professor and MBUS Researcher, Nick Gelpi, Participates in the 2016 Edition of Design Miami

Florida International University Architecture Professor and MBUS Researcher, Nick Gelpi, will be participating in Miami’s Art Basel and Design Week 2016 alongside his design studio, Gelpi Projects.

Gelpi will be a featured speaker at the Design Miami tent Thursday afternoon, December 1st, at 3:00 PM. The lecture, hosted by Design Miami in conjunction with the United Nations, features the launch of ‘Building Legacy: Designing for Sustainability’, a platform that promotes green infrastructure, architecture and design. The platform emphasizes in uniting designers, architects, and developers that will produce sustainable projects that will benefit generations to come. Ticket holders grant access to Design Miami and Art Basel Miami Beach.

Gelpi will also display his 3D printed installation, Textured Light, at The Pérez Art Museum Miami Contemporaries Penthouse located at The Parisian Hotel in Miami Beach, FL. The Satellite Art Show and PAMM have collaborated to produce this event that will offer contemporary art as well as live music curation throughout Miami Design Week.
