In a relaxed yet lively environment, faculty members from the Department of Architecture were able to portray their professional work at the first Faculty Exhibition at the College of Architecture + The Arts’ Miami Beach Urban Studios (MBUS) on Friday, January 11, 2013.
This successful evening was shared with family members, friends, students and curious citizens. While enjoying the refreshments, which included wine and cheese, the more than 100 attendees were able to walk around the studio and look at the models, photos, designs and sketches showcased by the featured faculty.
Midway through the evening, the Architecture Chair, John Stuart, and the Landscape Architecture Chair, Roberto Rovira opened the floor to discuss in great detail the faculty’s works.
This medium gives the Department of Architecture the opportunity to recognize and learn about the great professionals that we have in our university.
We thank the collaborating students that helped make this event a success!
If you missed the opening reception, the exhibition will be open until February 8 th 2013 at MBUS, 420 Lincoln Road, 4th floor, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
