During the weekend of April 20 & 21, FIU Theatre students had the opportunity to work with veteran movement instructor and coach, Janice Orlandi. This workshop was the second intensive this semester, the first was focused on preparing students for auditioning by Karen Kolhaas. Janice presented the two-day intensive for our students, who had the following reactions:
“Janice Orlandi’s workshop was everything I needed. Her mixed pedagogy approach was effective and inspiring. She facilitated exercises that bonded a group of practical strangers; leaving more connected to each other and ourselves.”
-Caitlyn Lincoln, BFA Performance Junior
“We experienced pure uninhibited exploration of the self, our environment and one another through meticulous attention to human emotion, group mind and the four elements.”
-Amber Lynn Benson, BFA Performance Junior
