On Tuesday, April 5th, Lorraine Bragg (Interior Designer, Heery International) led a PROsession for FIU Interior Architecture students to discuss the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Certification) and its Interior Design Fundamentals Exam (IDFX). Bragg has worked as a study coach for NCIDQ examinations.
All NCIDQ Certified Designers have been educated, trained and examined to protect public health, safety and welfare. The IDFX addresses the following topics: programming and site analysis; human behavior and the designed environment; building systems and construction; furniture, finishes, equipment and lighting; construction drawings and specifications; technical drawing conventions; and design communication.
