Since the inception of the Miami Foundation’s Fellows program, only a select group of individuals have been chosen to partake in a leadership role to build a better Miami.
FIU’s College of Architecture + The Art’s School of Architecture is proud to announce and congratulate our distinguished Director of Program Innovation, Professor Malik Benjamin, who recently graduated from the class VI of this notable fellowship program.
The Miami Foundation’s Fellows program was established in 1999. With nearly 120 individuals being awarded this distinctive honor over the past 14 years, the Foundation’s main purpose is to engage people from different backgrounds to become new leaders who are dedicated to their community, the greater Miami.
During the 15-month program, fellows get to target the more important issues affecting Miami, thereby developing leaders within. In addition, they network with current professionals leading the most influential organizations in the city.
The Miami Foundation’s Fellows program hopes to inspire future leaders who are engaged in giving back to the community.
If you love Miami and are interested in this wonderful opportunity to make a positive change in your community, registration has begun.
Prospective candidates for the Class VII need to apply by February 28th 2013 at 4:00 p.m.
“Whatever path they choose, our goal is for Fellows to lead toward a greater Miami.” The Miami Foundation
